Annie KIDS (2025)

Plot Summary

Annie KIDS was Tomato's first fall musical and was a giant success! Annie follows the story of a young orphan girl who lives in an orphanage run by the greedy Ms. Hannigan. Annie dreams of finding her parents who only left her with a broken locket as a baby. One day, a rich businessman named Oliver Warbucks decides to invite Annie to his mansion for Christmas. Annie explores the city with Warbucks, in awe of the entire city in the iconic song "N.Y.C.". Once at the mansion again, Warbucks tells Annie he would like to adopt her, causing Annie to cry as she explains her desire to find her parents. The pair end up on the radio, Warbucks offering a $50,000 reward for anyone who can prove they are her parents. Eventually, a couple comes forward, claiming to be Annie's parents with the birth certificate and locket to prove it. However, the next morning President Roosevelt shows up, outing the couple as imposters! Annie spends Christmas with Warbucks and Roosevelt declares that this Christmas will be the start of Annie's new life.
